Lligwy beach

Located near the picturesque village of Moelfre on Anglesey's eastern shore, Traeth Lligwy presents a wild and unspoiled sandy expanse backed by low dunes that create an open, windswept atmosphere. At low tide, the beach reveals approximately three-quarters of a mile of firm sand, perfect for long walks and beachcombing, while its proximity to the Wales Coast Path makes it an excellent starting point for coastal hiking adventures. The beach's relatively undeveloped character and stunning views toward Dulas Island provide a sense of escape from the more crowded tourist areas.
