This was a beautiful park which we found lovely and very accommodating. The scenery is sublime and it’s perfectly tailored for walks, jogs and cycling. The atmosphere is pleasant and it certainly is in a choice location, not too remote or divorced from neighbouring villages. Well maintained grounds and a very pleasant place. Highly recommended!

We always have a great time riding at Bettshanger. The mountain bike trails have really improved from previous years, and are now well maintained. The newly extended red route is great fun to ride. The ladies at E-Flow Cycles are very lovely, and are really passionate about encouraging more women to get out there on their bikes (me being one of them), which I totally support. The young chap that works on bike hire is always happy to help and answer any questions. The cakes at the Bikes & Bakes are delicious! Very impressed to see a gluten/dairy free option. The VC Deal kids club on a Saturday morning is fantastic! Both our children used to ride with the club when they were younger, and they still go back to join the group for a ride, when they can. A big shout out to the coaches who give up their Saturday mornings, come rain or shine, to take the kids out. Fantastic value! I'd definitely recommend a visit to the park if you love cycling, fresh air, cake and a friendly welcome from the E-Flow Cycles Team and VC Deal. Well done guys!

This is a great place to visit for a day out with kids. It has been continually developed over the years and improvements include parking arrangements which are now transparent and fair (£5 for the day) and run in-house by Betteshanger. Prices have gone up for bike hire but bikes have been upgraded/replaced and they now offer electric bikes too. Super little museum with free entry tells the engaging story of miners and their families (friendly chap on the door in a motorised scooter welcomes with a smile). Also, little shop plus kiosks selling ice creams, coffees etc and pub/restaurant with a big playground outside. Only negative is quality and lack of picnic tables. Some need replacing and really need more to serve the many visiting families bringing picnics. Still, great job Betteshanger team and thanks to all for providing and developing such a brill place. We have many happy memories of fun days out here. Also, perfect location to go on from here just a 10 mins drive to Victoria Park in Deal with play areas and basketball courts where you can park for free and do 10 mins walk to the pebbled beach and take in the sea views as well as the distant, white cliffs of Dover. Makes a cool day out overall.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception in The Glass Room: The venue team (especially Anhelina) were really accommodating, every weird and wonderful request we had was met! Contact was very good and quick, I even had Anhelina on WhatsApp in the end which makes last minute planning detail very easy. Nothing was too much trouble, the day ran smoothly. The food was amazing, the bar staff in the evening were great. I would recommend if you're looking for a venue that can do everything in one place but also doesn't cost the earth. The setting is beautiful, we're so happy we chose Betteshanger/The Glass Room and now hold very special memories at somewhere we also love to go regularly with the kids.
