Dinosaurland Fossil Museum
Reviews
Small but a wonderful museum that is hidden away on a quiet street. It's a privately owned and run place and Chris absolutely out his passion in to this place. There are countless of dinosaur and sealife fossils from both UK and abroad, there is a room with loads dinosaur scenes upstairs, there are many other creatures such as butterfly, dear, bear and a pair of Chinese dinosaurs, perhaps the only pair that is outside of China. Well worth a visit, but you will need to prepare to read a lot of descriptions inside to value this place.
Lovely little fossil museum.on the jurassic coast. 28.00 for a family of 3 adults and 1 child. Lots of Dino statutes. And a lovely Dino collection at the end. A must if dinosaurs are your thing.
An incredible collection of fossils and dinosaurs. Loved the little notes from the owner on the way around, very cheeky and funny. £7.50 per adult entry, will take you about an hour, worth it! Thanks so much!
We were met and greeted by a nice gentleman, who appears to be an archeologist, displaying his amazing private collection. There are so many stunning pieces of the prehistoric ages and fossils that one should definitely admire and appreciate, if you like history at all.
Took grandson aged 3 here whilst staying in Lyme regis for the weekend. Grandson was free entry and I think we paid £7 per adult. Quite a large attraction and some fascinating things to look at (although this was repetitive in some areas) Agree with other reviewers there is a smell of damp in the air but to be expected with a big old building. Grandson loved the dinosaurs upstairs even if a few of them were a bit odd looking but I should imagine someone put a lot of effort into creating them
