Freewave Surf Academy

The whole team were awesome, taking care of 22 teenagers whilst we were away on rugby tour… they took some handling, professional, gave direction where required. Would love to go back!!! Thanks Freewave!!!

We booked a family surf lesson, great value, our instructor was Marco, great lad and excellent, communication, gave us a lot of time, board and wetsuits included. My two teenagers loved the lesson, my younger daughter found it hard but did not give up and managed to catch waves and stand up. Great first experience, all still talking about it. These guys are amazing, totally recommend.

We had the most amazing 2.5 hours learning to surf this afternoon. James (our instructor) was really friendly and fun for all of our group to learn from. Widemouth Bay was ideal as parking was really close to the beach. Freewave Surf Academy had great equipment, was really easy to book and really friendly instructors. We’ll definitely do it again.

I attended a group surf lesson with Robin at Widemouth Bay. Robin was a great coach especially as he had a mixture of abilities in the group. He provided helpful feedback on how to improve each time. Widemouth Bay also seems a good place for learning how to surf; we had ideal conditions with everyone having many chances to catch waves.
