We had an incredible experience with James as our instructor for both surfing and coasteering! From the moment we met him, he made us feel completely at ease. James took everything at a steady pace, making sure we felt comfortable and confident before moving on to anything new. His teaching style was clear, calm, and incredibly patient—perfect for beginners like us. What really stood out was how respectful and supportive he was. James never pressured us into doing anything we weren’t comfortable with. Instead, he encouraged us gently, always prioritizing our safety and enjoyment. Thanks to his approach, we ended up trying things we never thought we’d be brave enough to do! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. James is not only knowledgeable and professional but also genuinely kind and easy to be around. If you’re looking for someone who will teach you well, keep you safe, and make sure you have a fantastic time, James is the one to go with. Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish! I did a half-day of surfing and another half-day of coasteering — both were incredible. James, our instructor, was fantastic: clear, encouraging, and great fun throughout. The whole team was super friendly and helpful, and the business is run with real care and passion. The location couldn’t be better — stunning scenery and perfect conditions. Can’t recommend this highly enough — 5 stars all the way!

We had a private surf lesson with women + waves based here at the activity centre and it was great. Everything ran super smoothly and was very organised. All the gear was provided and we had the best time. Our instructor Elaine was perfect, she was so patient and encouraging, and full of helpful tips. We 100% recommend and would love to come back for another lesson!

Sarah at Newquay Activity Centre provided an absolutely unforgettable experience during our Adventure Gully activities! From start to finish, she was outstandingly good, exuding a perfect blend of friendliness and professionalism. Sarah expertly guided us to the best spot for our dives and ensured our safety while we swam to the cave where we witnessed the breathtaking Dragon Stone. Her knowledge and passion truly shone through, making the adventure both exhilarating and safe. I can't recommend Sarah highly enough – she made our day one to remember! Five stars!

Returned today for coasteering. Daisy was our lead again and she was brilliant and knowledgeable and handled the group with different abilities very professionally. Would recommend this activity and the centre to everyone. Again relaxed and fun.
