Paignton Pier

Such a nice place to visit and to relax. It's not far away from the train station and it's not far away from the town centre. There is a big arcade suitable for everyone to have fun, a place to eat fish and Chips, or burgers or sausage roll, plenty of refreshments, ice creams, donuts, milkshakes, coffees. At the end of it there is a golf course for kids between dinosaurs. I did enjoy my time there and will recommend it.
What a lovely quaint place. It was opened in 1879 by Arthur Dendy. Who was a hotelier, author, lawyer, newspaper and theatre owner and if that wasn't enough he was also the local ferry owner. He built the town basically! It was windy and cold on the day. But everything was open. Lovely place and shops. Don't forget the donuts. 8 for £4!
Visited briefly as stayed in Paignton for a half term. Good attraction for children, lots of games and mini Jurassic golf at the end of Pier. Quite fun, but as an adult I'm not really into it. There's a lovely fish &chips at the very front on the right hand side that serve amazing chips, recommending😁🤗
Great visit to the pier, spent about a tenner to win a £1 key ring but great laugh doing it 🤣 the lady in the slots was a star. Well worth a visit and lovely views to boot.
A busy and vibrant pier, a rare thing these days it seems. A large amusement arcade dominates with plenty of varied slot and arcade machines. People with armfuls of tickets showing that prizes are there to be won in this colourful and popular attraction. At the far end there is a dinosaur park which is very well maintained and with good quality dinosaur models from tiny to huge. Try your hand at putting or sit in the massive deck chairs - a good photo op. It's free to use the pier and the views across the water towards the town are a delight.
