This historic building was closed when we passed by and looked to be undergoing renovation (hopefully). Not much information about it or price to visit ordinarily. Follow here and the IG link in profile for more travel and food and drink tips, ideas and reviews!

Firstly, this is not the museum this is Airbnb Royal Sands apartment Ramsgate postcode CT118FH we had a nice day very trendy apartment Seaview right on the promenade so we have Wetherspoons 3 mins walk and Peters fish factory fish and chips and also there is Mediterranean restaurants nearby sandy beach 1 minute walk and electric gates to get into the car park only one issue no Aircon or fan would be 5 stars if this was in the apartment price💰£ in British pounds £170 a night hope this helped everybody enjoy😊

Very interesting. Entrance is only £2.50 and there are 5 rooms of information, including a section on the Dunkirk evacuation

Visiting Ramsgate so I can enjoy everything there but couldn’t make it as closing time. Hope back soon for it. Btw it looks great history packed inside this museum.

Small museum with some fascinating content but in need of TLC. The volunteer staff are very friendly. I understand a refurbishment of the building is planned which will enable a refresh. When we visited several display cases were empty whilst contents were apparently out for conservation. I would definitely return when the museum reopens and will look out for details of the new plans...
