Wonderful little zoo with a wide variety of monkeys - very adorable and sweet to see so many happy animals basking in the sun! Would recommend visiting and seeing the beautiful lemurs and tiny colourful frogs in the warmer area! 10/10! Close to other nearby cafés, toilets and parking.
This is an excellent, very small zoo that specialises in small primates (little monkeys, although they're not strictly speaking monkeys). There are dozens and dozens of them, all in medium-sized enclosures. It's VERY easy to spot them and many of them come up to the windows or climb the netting right in front of you. There are also meerkats and assorted reptiles. Although the zoo is small, it's also less than half the price of a full-sized zoo and you can come and go throughout the day. Large cheap car park and public loos nearby. Be aware that due to its hillside location there are several unavoidable steps. It's ideal for children and anyone looking for "cute".
This is a truly exotic experience to see such a vast range of species of primates. There are many facts boards to read and learn from. We were impressed by all the little inhabitants.
A small zoo but very good. My grandson loved it here. We arrived at the right time as most of the monkeys were being fed. A bonus to be able to leave and return as often as you want during the day. A big car park next to the zoo and not overpriced either. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The zoo is small and you could go around it in an hour but the staff are so friendly and interested. We booked a meerkat and lemur experience and Amelia was so patient with our daughter in torrential rain and really encouraging. Even though it’s small you can come and go through the day so on a nice day it could be split with some beach time as the beach is a few minutes walk. As it’s small there isn’t opportunity for kids to expect money being spent every 5 minutes as there’s no cafe or ice cream stalls, although there is a cafe opposite if you do want refreshments or a meal.
