What a fantastic place. We were lucky enough to have visited when the mill was working. The miller was great and gave us a tour of the mill and was so knowledgeable. All the volunteers were so friendly and passionate about the mill.

This is an interesting tourist attraction. There were interactive activities set up on the day of our visit. The working model was also amazing. We bought some flour made in the mill. Educational and fun.

Like a Tardis this place is much bigger than it looks! It was really interesting to see how the milling process used to be done and still is at this place. If your kids are in to baking then they will love learning about making flour and trying out some of the tools! Free to enter and run by knowledgable volunteers so donate if you can or buy some flour at the little shop!

A Truly Incredible Experience... You can't get much 'greener' than this mill and its flour production. The chap in the mill, Michael, told us all about the long history of the mill and was very knowledgeable on how the whole mill functioned ... How they managed to build such a finely tuned piece of machinery all those hundreds of years ago, without precision tools, was simply amazing. We saw the wheels and cogs turning, making you realise how dangerous it must have been in the days before 'Health & Safety' !! The lady in the mill , Chrissie, was friendly and chatty. It was a wonderful experience, and would highly recommend a visit.

Great to see a working water mill! The mill itself is a historical gem, had a great tour from Mike and a lovely chat with Janet in the shop. There are lots of other arts & crafts, dining and cultural things to do too so well worth a visit!
