They’ve done some really cool things with “old” audio and comms tech. One of the few places where you can touch things, turn knobs, hear what it’s doing. Where else can you touch a MOOG???? Totally worth the train ride. OBTW it’s only a 20 minute (or less) walk from the station.

I found it quite fascinating. It takes you back. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I like that they allow and encourage you to have a go at some of the equipment as well, and for a newbie like myself I found a lot of information. My husband is a big fan, but he couldn't come this time. But there's always next time. 😊

When I first entered the tiny foyer, I didn't know what to expect from this museum. But, after paying our entry fee and being let inside, I was immediately greeted with an overwhelming sight of floor-to-ceiling electronics in every direction! Each exhibit is thoughtfully presented, and there is a multitude of stuff to interact with for sound and visual effect. We had a ton of fun exploring this place!

If you like old things, weird things, and old weird things then this might just be heaven. It's the only place on the planet where you can see and get hands on with many amazing pieces of history, including (but not limited to); - An old phone exchange - Joan's organ - The worlds largest drone synthesizer - A very long game of Pong - A reasonably sized collection of old computers (The Micro Computer Museum next door has even more if that's your thing!) - Many different synthesisers and music instruments from the 20s to the modern day - Some of the wacky, and sometimes genius, creations of Look Mum No Computer - (Also Furbies) The volunteers who run the show are incredibly passionate and helpful, and are always willing to explain and demonstrate the items in the collection. And you never know, you might even meet the man himself ;) And the best bit is the collection is constantly changing, so the next time you go back there's even more stuff to discover! If you're still reading this, just go. Now!

Wow what a great experience. We took the kids but ended up having as much fun as they did. Brilliant vintage and eclectic setup. We tried out everything in there but highlights for me was the telephone exchange setup and the church organ setup. Brilliant for all the family. Thanks
