The Fish House is a sea food restaurant in Newquay located on the world famous surfing beach, Fistral Beach and is just a stones throw from the sea. The inspiration for our food comes straight from the sea, using locally caught fish and shell fish straight from Newquay harbour. We use the best seasonal ingredients available, to create rustic dishes with authentic flavours. What better way to finish a day on the beach than watching the sunset eating amazing food and soaking up the atmosphere.!

Just the best evening out every time. Haven’t been for a while as we’ve been just so busy but we’ve both said we need to book in again soon. Crab and lobster 🦞 specials were amazing. Always such friendly, welcoming staff. Fabulous food and the view is just out of this world. We absolutely love it here. Can’t fault it. Thank you as always for having us. Highly recommended to book in advance so as not to miss out ! 👌👍🙏

Our family enjoyed a delicious meal this evening at the Fish House. Staff were so kind and friendly and offered a great service even to our moody teenagers who were disappointed with the wet weather. All our meals were delicious and so well presented. We would highly recommend the sea bass and the Hake and also the fries are an absolute must! Definitely our best meal in Newquay. Thanks

Really good vibe in the place, very friendly staff and I liked the open kitchen. I loved the starters, outstanding seafood chowder. The seafood platter wasn’t great in my opinion, the mussels were a bit chewy and didn’t taste fresh and it was a bit overpriced for what you get. Overall I had a nice evening

This seafood restaurant was lovely! All the fish dishes we ordered were cooked beautifully and tasted great. The mussels in particular were the best mussels I’ve ever had! The staff were friendly and welcoming and even gave us a little congrats for just getting married. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would definitely recommend!

Food is amazing. Real ‘spit and sawdust’ feel - food outstanding presentation and quality. Fish super fresh, great choice, and served really well. Pudding menu amazing. Service excellent too - only reason they did not get 5* was that minimum tip button on credit card machine was 15%. You can override and add your own amount - which I did because I felt 15% as lowest was presumptive. I was going to give closer to 17%, but dropped to less than 10% when I saw the pre-selected buttons.
