Spend 2 consecutive evenings in the stable. Superb venue and views, sublime! The food was fab! Husband had the same pizza ( pigs dinner) each time because he loved the spice and freshness! The nachoes were wonderful and Tater tots yum! So many items to tempt! Staff kind and attentive.
Popped in today to get out of the bitterly cold wind. Lovely window seat over looking a blustery Fistral beach. Freshly made coffees soon warmed us up, while we watched the surfers. Very friendly attentive staff, reasonable prices but worth a few more pennys for the view.
Lovely place to call in for a Tuesday lunch. Got the last table in the window. It was reasonably priced for the food and views. The pizza was great. Nachos and cocktails were standard. It had a nice atmosphere and staff were friendly. Service was quick. There was a steady flow of customers not too busy, not too quiet.
Honestly the nicest pizza I have ever eaten and I’ve eaten in famous restaurants across Italy! Your chefs deserve a raise. Lovely venue with views across the beach. Friendly staff and good price
"The Stable, Newquay: Ocean Views and Perfect Pizzas" Perched on Newquay's stunning coastline, The Stable offers a dining experience where the spectacular beach views compete with the excellent food for your attention. We enjoyed a leisurely 15-minute coastal path walk to reach the restaurant, fortunately avoiding the parking challenges that many other diners face. The pizza exceeded our expectations, proving to be absolutely delicious and generously sized. Sharing was definitely the right choice - a whole pizza would have been overwhelming for one person. Our meal was perfectly complemented by sides of crispy tater tots and fresh coleslaw. The restaurant's own-brand cider provided a refreshing accompaniment to the feast, showcasing their expertise in both pizza and beverages. While the service was adequate without being exceptional, and the choice of hip-hop and rap music seemed somewhat incongruous with the relaxed beachfront setting, these minor drawbacks didn't significantly impact our experience. The combination of quality food and those breath-taking ocean views more than compensates for any small shortcomings. For the stunning location and delicious food alone, The Stable earns its five-star rating. Just remember to plan your parking strategy if you're driving.
