We had a spa experience, which included food at lunchtime, spa, and an hour in the spa garden. Very enjoyable. The only issue was that there was a young couple who bought their large dog into the restaurant and sat behind me, but I saw him in the corner of my eye. During my meal, all I heard was the dog chewing on a large bone.He also farted. So very smelly. The mess he left after chewing on his bone was more than a child would make. It was disgusting. He kept on sniffing my bag. Dogs that size should not allow in the
restaurant. The owners just kept on feeding him food, and he jumped up at them. Not enjoyable experience. However, the food and service were excellent.

My husband and I were celebrating our 5th anniversary in early March, but we booked our holiday for the end of February to match my husband's annual leave. We came down from the Midlands with our 1y2ms son, and after a lot of research, we decided on Bedruthan, and it didn’t let us down!
A massive thank you to Kim and Shanon from reservations for all their help! I was emailing back and forth non-stop, and they made sure everything was taken care of for us, especially with our little one. It’s not just the usual baby cot and sterilizer that you get at many places, but they provided a BABY TUB, which was such a nice surprise! My son had such a great time, just like he would at home.
We went with the ‘Family Break’ package, which was a little on the pricier side but 100% worth it. No worries about breakfast or dinner – we just went to the restaurant, enjoyed the delicious food, and had the most amazing sea views. The two hours of creche time meant my husband and I could have some much-needed alone time. Our little one even fell asleep during creche, I think it was just so comfy and relaxing for him!
The whole place was great, the room was spotless, the food was incredible, and the front desk staff were so friendly, always chatting and playing with my son. Kim and Shanon, thank you for the complimentary cocktails; it really made our special trip even more memorable.
Even though it's a 5-hour drive from us, we’ll definitely be back again!

I just came back after almost a week and it was great. Nice place and so much to do for kids but also adults. They have arts and crafts, a bar, a spa, a pool, a softplay… There is so much to do in the actual hotel! The view in my parents room was amazing. Ours not so much but thats fine. The staff where so nice especially the waitress with brown hair and a nose piercing! The only negative thing is the food portions… the portions zre gigantic. Way too much food for one person.
We felt bad wasting all of that but there was no way we could finish it. Lastly we booked a private room with service for my grandmas 80th. Some foods were missing from the menu and it was wayyyy too much! Overall very nice.

Very impressive location, amazing room. We stayed in a large room with the best view overlooking the sea. Breakfast was lovely, so much good food we didn’t bother with the hot £6 upgrade. Coffee was good, lots of healthy choices - if you want a fry up there’s lots of cafe’s locally but that’s not the vibe here. The pool and spa facilities are first class, apologies to the spa staff member that thought I was dead in the pool - sometimes I like to just lie on my back and float. Talking of the staff, we thought they were all excellent and made us feel welcome and noticed, thanks to all of you.
Our only gripe was the dinner, it didn’t match with the quality and standard of the hotel with its amazing location and fantastic staff. I had the duck which I couldn’t finish and my wife didn’t like any of the starters and made me finish them, which I didn’t enjoy very much either if I’m honest. Apologies to chef, this isn’t a dig, please think of it as constructive criticism. You’ve got an amazing venue with great people, up your game and everything will fall into place. Knocked off 2 stars only for the dinner we were very much looking forward to but left the restaurant disappointed.

We had a nice stay at the Bedruthan for 3 night family time break. We were in a ‘field view’ family room 37, which in fact overlooked the car park, not a field. The room itself was spacious and clean. We had an industrial size fan as there’s no air conditioning, but swapped it for a smaller one as we have it on overnight and it sounded like a plane was taking off. Also the walls are very thin and the person above us was a night owl until well past 1am, which meant we did not have a restful sleep.
The choice at breakfast was good, can’t fault the bakery but would have liked more savoury options. It’s such a disappointment to only have coffee from a machine. A freshly brewed Cafetiere is not a lot of effort or cost.
It’s attention to detail that lets the hotel down. The coffee as mentioned, pool cues broken, toys in the play room broken or with parts missing and some parts of the hotel generally looking tired and in need of some TLC.
What makes up for all of that is the location. Cannot fault it, stunning beach.
