Quite disappointing! It was my partners special 40th birthday. We are not from the area but I wanted to make this really special. Unfortunately this was not the outcome I'd wished for. The service was OK, but wasn't really attentive. The cocktails starter looked nice but clearly wasn't what we asked for!... The price of the food was certainly not reflected in the quality. I had to send back my dishes as the Calamari squid salt and pepper dish was soggy deep fried mush with no taste... and the broccoli side was a wasted plate with no taste and little flavour. The view over the sea is certainly the pull to this beautiful and what could be stunning restaurant. Over priced with food that needed to be sent back. Poor, I'm sorry to have to write this but true.

This is definitely a place you should visit if you are already in Newquay. The menu is on the tables and the choice of dishes is quite large, we went for lunch so we tried the food which is available until 5 o'clock and did not regret it, everything is fresh and delicious. The view from the window is simply stunning, definitely worth a visit. The staff is friendly and knows the menu very well, we were grateful for the help with the choice.

We live in Newquay and haven’t been to the Lewinnick for a long time and we enjoyed it then and now. Birthday dinner, (and the menu up to date on their website,) my daughter had the sirloin steak medium rare and it was perfectly done. I had the trout which was delicious in a lovely sauce. We shared the banoffi cheese cake which was so divine we forgot to take a picture. Bank holiday weekend so very busy, nice vibe, nice decor. Casual dress accepted. A nice evening out.

Decided to come for lunch, unexpectedly, on Bank Holiday Monday. Found a table and had cheese and ham toasties while sharing some fries. Food was lovely, really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful and obviously the Lodge itself is in a fantastic location with gorgeous sea views. Highly recommended, we love it here.

We are lucky to have been several times over the years. Food, drinks and accommodation are Second to None. The team at Lewinick are fantastic, nothing is too much, service is wonderful. Fabulous weekend, already looking forwards to the next time!
